It’s the last saturday in September 2010, the time for our next monthly review.

Before we start to talk about the mod, we want to epxress our condolences to the family of Brian Wood, Relics Lead Designer of Company of Heroes Online and CoH – Tales of Valor. Brian Wood was killed in a car accident on September 3rd 2010. More information on Relic.com. Our whole mod team is extremely saddend by this loss!

Back to CoH: Modern Combat! Work has been done on many fronts so that we have plenty of stuff to show for you again. First thing to notice is: The factions Battle Cruisers are ingame! Both the M1A2 Abrams and the ZTZ-99 are fully animated and imported. Here are some screenshots of them in action!

The next vehicle was only mentioned in our faction layout, without any renders being shown, yet. This has a reason. Our staff member Chopin has been going through all the stages of modeling, UV-mapping and texturing during the last few weeks. But not enough, tiger205 with the help of Darkbladecr has already animated and imported this beast into our mod! So here it is, the PGZ-95 anti-air gun-system with it’s 4 x 25 mm autocannon and 4 x QW-2 SAM rockets!

Now, if you are impressed already, watch out for another tool of desctruction that has never been shown, yet.The model was once again done by Chopin, while the UV-Map and texture this time were created by KnightOfAmmo, who should be known for the numerous textures that he has provided for CoH: Modern Combat already. The vehicle i am talking about is the PHZ-89 Multi-Rocket-Launcher-System. Here are some ingame pictures for you!

Last but not least we want to show you the first version of the ZSD-89, which will be available to the PLA as several different variants. You’ll see more pictures of it, including the different variants in one of our future press releases.
