M60! Both my favorite tank and machine gun (behind the MG42). I could help with that, if it's put in at some point.

Well, far as I know the modern US military, the Bradley is the general APC. I can't think of another vehicle to replace it, unless you'd want to go back to Vietnam to get that M113.

It seems there ARE many M113 Zippos are still in service..heavily modified to fit various roles.

About M60's position in tech tree, I suggest set it as a Marine-only unit at tier 3(to draw more people's attention to play Marine), while Army have M1A2 however marine only got A1.

We don't even use them anymore.

I take that back, we use them as target practice for the Abrams.

You don't use it because you don't have situation where it is needed.
Abrams is a MBT over 60t, which means it will easily get stuck in muddy paddy, and most of the road and bridge cannot bear the weight of Abrams. If tanks slowed down, infantrys must on their own, or simply depend on attack helicopters which is much more expensive.

If you guys think M60 series is really old, then use M8 AGS, Stingray lingt tank or XM1202 FCS MGV instead.

M60A3 weighs 58 tons? I found it's only 48684kg.

Ths thing weighs 48 tons at it's lightest. It doesn't matter about weight; it matters about how it's distributed on the ground. A tank with wider tracks is going to perform much better on soft ground than a tank with thinner tracks.

Since we're starting to get off topic a bit, I'll add something back on topic.

Unit: Polaris MRZR
Place in Tech Tree: Tier One replacement of HMMWV (M-ATV added to Tier Two)
Reason for Unit: The US needs something similar to the PLA unit. It should be able to capture, come with a 240 and could be upgraded with M2 or Mk 19.

How about if a Rifleman squad could only go with two additional weapons however there are much more choices like: M203 Grenade Launcher, (included) M249 Squad Automatic Weapon, (included) and Mk. 14 Enhanced Designated Marksman Battle Rifle
Also US army squads are actually composed of 9 men:
Squad Leader
Two Fire Team Leaders
2 Riflemen
2 Grenaiders
2 Marksman
(Medics seem to be missing)
