Just interested to see what the community would like to see in MC. Posts should be setup like this:
Unit: Desert Patrol Vehicle Place in Tech Tree: Tier 1 replacement of Humvee Reason for the unit: Want to be able to drive past all those pesky HMG teams and literally run over the PLA sniper
Or if you have a good idea for an ability or Doctrine ability:
Ability: Air Canister Barrage Reason for the Ability: Fireworks for night maps, just to make the game a bit more fun
Well, that was quick haha! I know I'm breaking your code here, sorry about that. The only thing that I would like to see is the implementation of the Bundeswehr material that Chopin has in his photobucket in the far far future Apart from that, I think MC is pretty much complete after the PLA reward faction release
Oraaah ability for Militia (like Conscripts in CoH 2). It can cost 5 munitions or be on cooldown.
It feels like the US is the funny faction (like in vCoH) and the PLA feels like an AI faction (like Wehr) and I think the PLA needs something like that.
Personally, if it's gonna cost 5 munitions, then make it free. It's basically sprinting. Nothing related to reduced suppression. Besides, all units get Sprint in Hardcore Mode, so I'd see no reason to add it.
I actually think the US is more related to the Wehrmacht and the PLA is more related to the Americans, contrary to popular belief. The US needs to purchase it's next tier, while the PLA does not.

PLA already have "For the Motherland" ability in total mobillization commander tree.
Unit: M1129 Stryker Mortar Carrier Place in tech tree: Tier 2 replace M1064 Mortar Carrier Reason for the unit: The M1064 simply seems too outdated. And this will make it able to be upgraded from Stryker ICV.
Upgrade: BGM-71 TOW upgrade for HMMWV Place in tech tree: Tier 3 required Reason for the upgrade: Developments of US Factions heavily depends on fuel, without fuel, US factions got little chance to change unfavorable situation. For this reason, something fuel-free, able to defeat enemy armor, and not so fragile as infantry is really essential.
Unit: M551A1 Sherdian / M8 AGS / Stingray light tank Place in tech tree: Tier 3 replace M1134 Stryker ATGM (M1134 now can only be upgraded from existing Stryker ICV) Reason for the unit: US Army has an absence on medium tanks (while PLA have 59D and ZTZ96A two medium tanks), and this makes US difficult to protect their units in both attaking and defending. M551 uses HESH which do less harm to armor than AP but got more chance to kill armor crews. I've heard about many retired M551 Sherdian has been dressed up as Russian tanks and used as imaginary enemy in combat exercise, not completely retired.

For PLA
Unit: Type 62/62G Light Tank Place in tech tree: Tier 3 replace ZBD05 IFV Reason for the unit: Type 62 is a light tank with 85mm cannon, fast speed, exellent terrain adaptability, and poor armor. In appearance, Type 62 looks like a much smaller Type 59 (However Type 62G has a different welding turret which comes from Type 63A amphibious tank), its 85mm cannon is weak VS heavy armor but strong VS infantry and light vehicle. Production of Type62 doesn't need upgrade in Tier3. Type 62 can be upgraded to Type 62G, which has an 105mm cannon and strong vs armor.
Unit: HJ-8L Antitank missile squad Place in tech tree: Future is Near Commander Tree replace PF-98 rocket team Reason for the unit: HJ-8L is most frequently used antitank weapon of elite divisions of PLA. Launchers of HJ-8L looks similar to PF-98, and its way of work is same as TOW. (Export version of HJ-8 series has the record of blowing up the turret of a T-72 2000m away with one shot in Yugoslavia) HJ-8L squad has 4 men, it takes longer time for them to deploy in positon, but the power, range and accuracy is much better than PF-98.

Unit: M120 Mortar Place in Tech Tree: Replaces M1064 Mortar Carrier for the Marines Reason for Unit: The Marines are a more infantry-reliant faction. Perhaps giving them an infantry-mortar will emphasize this. It can be recrewed, both good for you, but also good for the enemy. Retains the same fire rate & damage model as the M1064's mortar.
And, for the heck of it, an ability:
Ability: AC-130 Overwatch Reason for Ability: Reward Ability for the Air Superiority Doctrine, replaces the Apache. It watches over an area and saturates it with fire if the enemy comes within the overwatch area. Comes in bursts. Functions like the Panzer Elite Sector Artillery from Company of Heroes: Online, except it launches 105mm artillery shells, 40mm autocannon shells, and a helluva lot of 20mm lead.

I don't care about hardcore mode at all. Talking about standard.
Tier advancements sure, but I mean the way the factions play. US is always the versatile army while Wehr/PLA is speicalized.
I don't think we're supposed to discuss in this topic. Only suggest things.
Place in Tech Tree: Replace MARSOC in Air Supremacy Doctrine, while MARSOC replaces Navy Seals in Close Quarters Doctrine. No need for remodels just rename. (Models would work perfectly for both units )
Reason for the unit: Recon Marines and their missions are more closely related to the 101st in the Army's Air Supremacy Doctrine than MARSOC is. They can parachute or fast ropes (which is a badass animation good job)(but use huey instead of blackhawk IF possible). MARSOC should replace Navy Seals since they too, are also closely related and it is indeed in fact THE MARINE CORPS

AC130 is too powerful..maybe one slow bombing run from one end of the map to the other is enough.
