Wish List

Re: Wish List
After playing with my friends for dozens of times of the mod, I think the usage of units are far less flexible than that of US. While US players upgrading their units around, PLA players have to produce different unit to feed US war machine, which makes PLA players exhausted and makes US players feeling like "beating zombies".
-Make PLA T3 and T4 incompatible, and change units of T3 and T4 around a bit. This is a beginning of introducing changes into PLA faction, because this makes PLA players to initiatively choose their style of fighting, and make US players feels less like "beating zombies".
-Giving ZBD2000 an upgrade of HJ-73, incompatible with 105mm cannon upgrade, and increase the cost of 105mm cannon upgrade. HJ-73 is like TOW missile of Bradley, pay for every shot, but with less power. This will force PLA players uses their ammo much often to make destruction rather than store them for off-map supports. Also, without Capital Defenders(T59), ZBD2000 will be the only producible armor of PLA.
-Giving Humvees TOW upgrade.
-Giving Stryker Ambulance upgrade.

Re: Wish List
Making T3 and T4 incompatible isn't necessary, since the costs of going both T3 and T4 are immense by themselves. Add in the ZBD-05 upgrade, then one or two ZBD-05s themselves, and you'll only see yourself going T4 if you're way, way ahead.
On the other hand, if you go tier 2->tier 4, you've got yourself a problem. Your only non-doctrinal anti-tank are Tank Hunters, and Type 59D. Against heavier U.S. armor (even just Bradleys) you can't rely on just Tank Hunter spam, it's prohibitively expensive to maintain that *and* all your anti-infantry infantry, since there's no way of making your troops more durable. You also can't rely on Type 59Ds for your anti-tank, because Javelins, ATGMs, and even Bradley TOW missiles are ridiculously effective. If you get put onto your back foot as China, you are going to need those 120mm anti-tank guns, and it would be really weird to have those in both tier 3 and tier 4 if they're made incompatible.
I have commented on how the PLA don't have any flexibility because of lack of upgrades and abilities, but I don't think this is the way to do it, because making T3 and T4 incompatible reduces PLA player's options which is fundamentally the wrong direction.
The ZBD 105mm cannon is an inaccurate, low-damage, low-penetration upgrade, only useful as a stopgap AT measure when you've been caught off-guard. The only time I would ever recommend this to a player is if they've managed to push the U.S. player so far behind in the fuel race that Strykers are the only thing that are going to be showing up, and only then if you really, really need the mobile anti-tank. After all, this upgrade means nothing once the Abrams shows up, and 90% of the time it will. Increasing the cost of this upgrade just makes a terrible upgrade even worse. As for the HJ-73, I think it's a bad idea in terms of the metagame. The Stryker MGS and 25mm Marine LAV both win against the ZBD-05 at present, which is especially important for the MGS. Giving the 30mm chaingun version of the ZBD a way to hard-counter the Stryker MGS in particular, even if that method costs munitions, means the U.S. will have a very, very hard time getting any vehicle play on the field before tier 3. Due to this strange balance issue, the HJ-73 will end up either being overpowered, or completely worthless.
If the Humvees get a TOW upgrade like the Bradley's, I can build two and hard-counter both snipers and anything smaller than a Type 59D. If I add a Rifle squad, or something else with an AT4, I can destroy the first Type 59D on the field with impunity so long as I have 140 munitions. 140 munitions for 420 manpower and 90 fuel, and delaying the enemy's primary shock unit, is very much worth it. In vCoH, I'll happily blow 105 munitions in panzerfausts just to kill the American's M8 as soon as it hits the field, and that's not nearly as good of a trade as a tier 4 main battle tank.

Re: Wish List
Unit: Super M60 of USMC
Place in Tech Tree: Tier 3 (replace M2 Bradley, if new tech tree and M3 CFV are adopted)
Reason for the unit:
When the total-war is heating up, The Army and Marine Corps losts hundreds of tanks everyday on the battlefield. Although the US war machine is producing with full capacity, for the gods sake, the frontline still needs everything they have now.
Super M60 is upgraded version of M60A1/M60A3, with 105mm gun, 1200hp engine, better armor, and some other upgrades, and it can easily beat T-72B, ZTZ-96 or such 2.5-Gen MBT. The cost of upgrading a M60A1 to Super M60 Standard is only $0.38 Million (While unit-cost of Abrams is $8.58 million). US has about 10,000 M60s in storage, and it can be shortly converted to a considerable brute force by such upgrade.
Unit: M60-2000 of USMC
* Note: Super M60 and M60-2000 are different models.
Place in Tech Tree: Close Quarder commander tree replace M1A1
Reason for the unit:
Beside Super M60 upgrade, M60-2000 is another option of upgraging M60s.
M60-2000 is M60 chiassis fitted with a M1A1 turret (120mm M256 gun). It have similar combat capacity with M1A1 and a reduced cost. Army always have enough Abrams, but Marine who are always lacking of newly weapons would like this.
Unit: LAV-AD of USMC
Place in Tech Tree: Upgraded from LAV-25, Tier 3 required.
Reason for the unit: LAV-AD has a 25mm 5-barral gatling cannon, which makes it extremely effective vs infantry and light armor.
Unit: M3 CFV of USMC
Place in Tech Tree: Maybe a brand new commander tree
Reason for the unit: M3 CFV is similar to M2 Bradley, but carrys more TOW missile(which makes it fires missiles ammo-free).

Super M60? Excellent work you guys
If we have M60 model, can we simply get turret model from current Abrams and put it on M60 chassis model to "assemble" an M60-2000? I mean, how much extra works will it take?

Re: Wish List
Models are usually covered - it's everything after that matters. Animations, UV maps, skinning, etc. Lots of work, especially with just a small team focused on that aspect of the mod.

The LAV-AD variant provides anti-air capabilities. We stopped using that one before I got out anyways.

Just to clarify this statement, an M60 is not necessarily a certainty or even a probability.
Sorry to lawyer my way into the conversation, but we deliberately try to avoid dishing out specific details so that people don't get their hopes up.

Eh, sorry. :/ Was just from what I heard. Since it's a wish list and not really a wish granted, I'll try to keep my mouth shut here.

PLA
Unit:15th Airborne Crops
Place in the tech tree:I don't know, maybe The Future is Now.
Reason for the unit:The US have the Green Berets(Marines Navy Seals) and the Airborne Riflemen(Marines Special Operators),but PLA only have SOF.The 15th Airborne Crops can use QBZ-03.It's a 5-men squad. They have QBB-95 LSW and QLB-06 Semi-Automatic Grenade Launcher upgrade. They can use PF-89 Rocket Launcher(like AT-4) , Type 86 Grenade and Smooke Grenade.
Unit:SX-1 Airborne Assault Vehicle
Place in the tech tree:Tier 1 ATV
Reason for the unit:Airborne should have a great vehicle.The SX-1 is like US Army FAV.It's a light vehicle.The SX-1 have a QJZ-89 12.7mm HMG.It can carry 2-5 soldiers.
Unit:ZBD-03 Airborne IFV
Place in the tech tree:I don't know,either.
Reason for the unit:PLA bought some BMD-3 Airborne IFVs and thought they are great. Then China designed a new Airborne IFV called ZBD-03.It can help the Airborne attack.ZBD-03 has a 30mm gun, a HJ-73 AT missile launcher and a 7.62mm HMG.
