Unit: HIMARS
Place In Tech Tree: Tier 3
Reason For The Unit: Countering the PLA's advantage in rocket artillery
I was thinking of an expensive but destructive unit that could fire 6 DPICM cluster-bomb rockets with a long cooldown or more accurate 1 MGM-40 ATACMS missile with a 300-lb warhead and longer range for 75 munitions.

Re: Wish List
Garrisonable Buildings for the Chinese Basebuildings like LD's PE infantry defense.
The Chinese Gas Facility, the one from BF2 would be great for having the infantry in it like the rest of the buildings.
US main infantry has been using beacons for their main forces to avoid friendly fire maybe those could be added for nightfights.
Apache would nice if it is able to use flares once for rockets but in contrast making small stinger emplacements over the map possible to increase defensive abilities.
UAV Recon for both factions, in order to use you may have to build a UAV Trailer. Gives Overwatch ability for fuel.
Northrop Grumman "Global Hawk" vs. Xianglong "Soar Dragon"
To be upgraded to GeoEye and hacked access(chinese) for territorial overwatch.
Flaretrap Mine
Pretty much a Claymore that pops up a flare when enemy forces stumble accross the wire line. Giving Snipers the ability to either pick up targets or make a silent move to avoid beeing backstabbed literally.
C4 Timebomb
20 Second timed that get stickied to a vehicle by certain special forces, though it can be disabled by engineers within given time.
Kimber Colt / Desert Eagle
USMC /Army fieled weapon for the base engineers to deal minor damage over distance when not repairing. Deadly at close range, but not as formidable as shotguns.
Fairchild A-10b "Grandslam"
Equiped with Triple-ejector bomb racks is the ultimate carpet devastation device, the bombs cannot be pickled off separately - each drop contains the full salvo of fifteen small bombs, and it carries no guided air to ground weaponry so that makes it not accurate but instead offers the biggest bang in the game for 1000 Ammo.

As the PLA has basically not much of their fierced Air Force ingame, eventually map probs that substitute the WW2 planes for possible airfield maps.
Gen5
Chengdu J-20 vs. Lockheed-Martin F-22 Raptor
Both are now the best Jet of their countries and despite not in big numbers would probably be soon needed for supremecy.
Shenyang J-31 vs. Lockheed-Martin JSF-35B
Both are set to be the new standard Jet in their department and offer modern avionics and stealth ability. Both are suspected to be long running at high costs, but instead of the various different roles fill them all.
Gen4
Chengdu J-10 vs. F-Pre20
The J-10 would be probably able to deal with all USAF F-Series from Gen4 including F14, F15, F16 and F18.

This is silly. Isn't MC trying to retain at least some semblance of realism?

Well What would be against Homeland Defense for Chinese in their Tech Buildings, and something for the US in return to defend their otherwise Dummy Base Engineers that you can route anyway. Even their MG Nests aren't like that anymore. It's no trenchwar so why would they dig in MG nests in the ground and not upground to shot against infantry from above rather than from underground.
It may not be Colts and Bolts but even the M9 would be better than them getting their necks kicked without any sign of even the slightes single arm defense when they do have no job on the other hand. It's anhilation after all so why would their be mechanics without self defence. Even Crews get them. How would you tell a pilot that has his heli/jet shot down not to defend himself because it is silly to wear a weapon in the second place. Even when they have 98% percent no use, they wouldn't go without them, what are they supposed to do otherwise sing I'll throw rocks at you or wipe their tiers because they have had the 2% of bad luck.

Re: Wish List
Oops, I didn't mean to criticize the bit about garrisonable Chinese buildings. I guess that's fine..?
On the other hand, the Deagle is a CoD trope. In reality, no military in the world uses the Desert Eagle and since realism is apparently a priority in this mod, I would hope that it isn't added.
And if you want to bring up points about balance, fine. Although I'm not very knowledgeable about balance in this mod, it seems common sense that players must learn to cope with their engineers being relatively weak in a head-to-head fight compared to dedicated infantry.
However, while engineers are weaker than dedicated infantry units, they're not nearly as defenseless as you make them seem. Engineers can mount at least a token defense with their rifles and they also already have several powerful anti-infantry upgrades available to them. US engineers get a shotgun for short range engagements and M14s(?) for longer ranges. The Chinese get coverkilling flamethrowers. Adding another weapon upgrade on top of the existing ones, in the form of a Deagle no less, would not only be unrealistic but also pretty redundant.

Re: Wish List
Well it's just for the building engineers, that are only 2 and don't run through the map so they'll just deal as base defense only, and only when there's no repair needed for any vehicle in range. I'm fine with the Grease Monkeys as they are lol

This would add a great addition to the game. I have also thought about this idea as well. Would love to see a UAV trailer for multiple purposes (both reconnaissance and attack capabilities).
Re: Wish List
I'd like to see a new ability in the CQB doctrine for the US:
'Digging in'. As a countermeasure due to the sheer number of Chinese forces coming a the US player this ability gives them some increased defensive options.
Firebase
Similar to the fortified observation post in the Blitzkrieg mod (http://www.blitzkrieg-mod.de/images/gal ... bunker.png). Lets the US player garrison a couple of units around a control point in order to defend it better. The model they've got actually looks alright but I'm sure you can use your imagination to think up how something cool could be stuck in there.
I've read some calls for slit trenches on here too so perhaps a compromise could be some sort of sandbag emplacement you can stick a rifleman squad in when you choose this ability.

Just the vanilla howitzer pit, I don't do balance but the model won't be a issue if we want to go ahead with that
