it was replace by the PLL-02

but I think this AT weapon need to be towed by a vehicle..... this is an disadvantage....

Is the T86 assault rifle used by PLA yet?

T86 is an experimental weapon, it doesn't seem to be used in active service anymore.

Yep, completely retired as a towed gun system, and totally replaced with PTL02.
The picture I showed above is from a Class B army (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/16th_Army_(People%27s_Republic_of_China)) with the oldest weapon and equipments of the whole PLA (You can even see the oldest T59-II MBT and T63 APC in that army). Towed AT gun has no survivibility in situations of modern conflict.

BTW, Not PLL, it's PTL.
PLL means "wheeled SP howitzer", while PTL means "wheeled SP assault gun".
