Launcher " 'steamapps' is not avalid short file name"

I have this problem every time i try to launch the new launcher when i downloaded it from mod db for the 1.016 release.
I have tried the old launcher wich always worked but that has come up with the same message.
I dont know whats wrong weather it is my computer or the launcher but everyone else seems to be fine with the launcher
My install location is:F:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Company of Heroes Relaunch (My C drive is getting full so i had to use an external hard-drive)
I am also running windows 7 home premium 64 bit if that helps

Is that exactly how you typed it?

Mine for example reads: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Company of Heroes Relaunch\

have you tried to use the launcher instead?
