Can't run game in fullscreen when shaders set to High/Low

Post by Dragontamer »

I'm not sure why, but the game can not be ran in fullscreen when I set my shaders to high or low. When I have my shaders to set to ultra, the US infantry textures flicker and spin around and it makes it impossible to play with more than just a few squads of infantry. I'm running the game at 1680x1050 resolution and when I set my shaders to high or low the game goes into windowed mode and the actual minimize and maximize buttons on the games window are gone.

The Ultra setting was never fully implemented in the CoH - so there's no way to fix it.

And I've also had problem changing the graphics settings with MC enabled - either run vCoH and change it or change it via the configuration.lua (open up with Notepad, or any other text editor) in My Games/Company of Heroes Relaunch.

Yeah Ultra implements Dx10, which as Soldier said never really worked as well as it should. In our case it fails to render some of our custom models properly.

As for the window thing I have no idea. You didn't modify the shortcut in any way did you?

No, same thing happens with me. :P I just assume with the mod there's too much information the game has to process and thus, basically crashes. So I have to run vCoH to change settings.
