CoH: Modern Combat

I dont know how somebody did it, and I been desperately trying. But to no avail, whenever I download a map it only allows the default ww2 factions to be played, when I play MC. IN other words, Britain is the US, and CHina is the germans. I do not know why.

So what I was getting too, Suggestion!... after dealing and if you have enough time later on, could you remake some of the 1v1 2v2 ... like lyons etc, maps into 3v3 maps. Enlarging them as you go along.

i've tried, I already enlarge my own maps, but I can't for the love of god get my friends to play into them.
They can play it single skirmish, but whenever I try to join them or they try to join me it says its not possible.

So yeah... maps but you know after dealing with bugs, and other stuff.

IN other words, the maps are fine... I dont change the maps sort of, I simply make them bigger . But I can't get it to work online hence why i made this post .

Have you made sure that you have setup the map correctly?
You have to load the map with MC and resave it, or you can manually edit the map.info file and change the
mod="WW2"
to
mod="ModernCombat"

Ok ok wow. What do uou mean "load the the map with MC"...

Yeah everything you just said... I dont know, so I didn't do it most likely.

I Opened them in world builder, change stuff, saved it, packaged it. Send it to my friend. We both put it in files. And we can play as ww2 factions but thats it.

So no clue where to find the "mod=ww2/ModernCombat thing at.

Or what you mean by loading or saving with MC.

Each map you downloaded should have an .info file. DB means that you should go through each one and change the 'mod="WW2"' line to 'mod="ModernCombat"'.

Is Wake Island available in MC look ?
Can Dragon Valley be named to Dragon Alley ?
