Modeler

Post by The Soldier »

Happen to need a modeler? I'm pretty expereince myself at modeling, mainly weapons and small vehicles. If you want a few examples, there's a few mods that have some of my weapons, mainly the Nam '67 mod for CoH. Those include an M60, RPG-7, M16 (with grenade launcher variants), LAW, M14, and an SKS. If you need a model quickly, I can usually give you a quality one before the day's out, provided I've got time.

We would love to have more people on the Dev team! We are always looking for more additions!

If you can just post a few screenshots/renders of the weapons that would be nice.

What program do you use? Can you UV map? Can you texture? Do you have any other experiences we should know about? :)

Just look through those and check for my name there. :)

I use Milkshape. Yes, probably not the 3DS-Max you were expecting, but I'm not able to to get that program nor am I willing to spend the time cracking it. :/

I struggle with UV-mapping with Milkshape. It's a tricky and odd process to do it. I also used to be a pro at mapping for Men of War (that's where just about everything related to modding taht I know came from).

Nothing wrong with using a different program, it was just a question.

We will contact you in the following week about your application. We still have to sort out the dev side of the forums.

No problem. :) Since I'm still a sophmore in school, though, I've still got real-world stuff to do. Can't dedicate all my time to the mod, though I'll happily use what's left after that.
