Don't want to be left behind - from 2.602 players

I've already posted same topic on moddb, but I think it's nessecary to post it here to make sure everyone read it.
I'm a college student from China. In the college, our international access on internet are strictly limited, for this reason we cannot enjoy steam and can only play on LAN or standalone. In China (and also many other countries which have poor internet bandwidth), there are many players facing the same situations like me because of those limits and poor network(even at home, many of us are still using 512kbps ADSL - you guys know how slow it is.
For this reason, if Modern Combat abandons v2.602, it abandons all limited players like us. However, I (and many of my classmates who also interested in Modern Combat) love Modern Combat for years, and we don't want to say goodbye to it. So I'm here to please you guys to continue support for v2.602 players. Maintain a large number of players (even though they never play together) is good to the whole community, too.

Like I posted on Mod DB:
Additionally for those that are unable to play online and would like to stick with using the old CoH v2.602 for LAN parties or such. You can download this new 1.015 installer and instead of installing it in your Steam location, just point it back to the old CoH root folder. For example:

C:\Program Files\THQ\Company of Heroes

Just make sure you delete the old ModernCombat folder!

We cannot support a patch since too much was changed and a lot of files were deleted (our old launcher cannot delete files). So you will have to download the new installer, but you can install it into v2.602.

Hey dude I got an idea. I can get me a USB drive. If your big bro wont mind I can mail ya the USB drive lol. I think it would take less time for the mail to deliver than you downloading the installer lol

Well compressing the installer made a negligible size difference, so we didn't bother. But no there wouldn't be a problem.

For slow downloading speed, use the torrent. At least that way you have a safe way of downloading the file without corruption.

We could always release a 1.015 patch that doesn't delete anything? Since the different versions aren't compatible anyway it wouldn't really matter.

@OP - Just use the Steam "offline mode" to play Modern Combat once you've installed it. Should work just fine and it doesn't use bandwidth. All you have to do is install it the first time, then you're done.
