CoH: Modern Combat

Hi, so I found out about this mod and immediately downloaded it. I downloaded the files and patches, but for some reason, modern combat still won't launch. I get a message from steam saying preparing to launch company of heroes, but then nothing happens after that. is steam still preventing it from launching, or did I do something wrong ?

It sounds like the problem introduced by the recent 2.700.2.22 Steam update, which MC patch 1.018 was released to fix. Are you sure you extracted the patches to the correct location (your CoH root folder)?

For example, mine is here: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Company of Heroes Relaunch"

right, i figured it out recently and i got it to work, but now, it has some weird graphical bug where units and structures are distorted and seem to stretch out across the screen. in certain angles, everything looks fine, but as soon as i back away from it, it glitches out again.

Change your shader from ultra to high. The tools provided to create custom models were, well, incomplete. Basicly no mod with custom models currently works correctly on ultra settings, they have graphical issues in one way or another.
