Beating the Bradley Marines Dead Horse.

Post by RSOHIO365 »

Alright so I'm expecting some hate or at least mild annoyance with this But I thought i'd put my one and a half cent in anyways. I know in the community there was a push to remove the Bradley from the Marine Faction due to some being unhappy with the realism aspect so while reading through the forums (And some recent BF4 game play) I had an idea. Correct me if I'm wrong here, I haven't played in a few weeks due to the patches and a full re install after loosing two of my maps due to a world builder issue but currently the Chinese go from the ATV to the ZSD89 Armoured Personnel Carrier to the ZBD-05 Amphibious Fighting Vehicle. While the Marine purchase chain tends to go from the Humvee to the LAV-25 to the Bradley. My suggestion is to replace the Bradley with the LAV25 and either give the Marines the Humvee(TOW) that's already been modeled or let them stick with their TOW LAV. Along with these changes the Humvee(M2) could be moved up a tier to act as the counterpart to the APC trading Armour for speed and the ability to transport troops. Or replace the Humvee outright for the Marines with the MRAP giving the Marines what is essentially a weaker version of the Chinese APC. With these changes the Marines would be left with no scout vehicle for their tier one so this would open up for the implementation of the ITV Growler. So the Marine purchase unlock tree would look more like this.

Growler "Tier1" > Humvee(M2)"Tier2"> LAV-25/LAVAT"Tier 3"

Or

Growler"Tier1">MRAP(M2)"Tier2">LAV-25/LAVAT"Tier3"

Any thoughts, tweaks?

We're currently looking at revising all the factions, although development has stalled somewhat. The USMC Bradleys and M1064s have always been out of place.

this video proves the USMC use M2 bradley if they are need of them... the bradley should not be deleted from USMC faction..

There won't be a single Bradley in a whole marine division...if marine are using Bradley, they must have borrowed it from nearby Army troops.
