CoH: Modern Combat

In the picture there's 3 turret types of Type 99.

First one is prototype of Type 99(aka Type 98), without any armor module. Current Type 99 would not appear like this.

Second one is earlier version of Type 99 production model, with front and side armor module. This kind of turret is mostly used by tanks of Beijing (Capital) Military Region.

Third one is later version of Type oo production model. It is lighter and smaller than the second one, and just looks like the one of type 96A in game. This kind of turret is mostly used by tanks of Shenyang (Northeast near Russia) Military Region.

Forth one is MBT-3000/Al-Khalid variant, not Type 99. Model of Type 96A used in our mod should be of this tank.

Glad to see you guys interested in it. I would translate more about PLA equipments and post it here.

Only the second one (99G) and the third one (99A1) are currently being used in PLA. The one on the 2009 National Parade is the third one (99A).

Here's a picture of 99A2 - the newest ZTZ99 variant, but not officially announced.
It has different chassis and turret with 99/99G/99A1, a larger engine engine compartment and different module armor on the front of the turret are the mostly significant feature. It has a similar combat capacity with M1A2 SEP.
