Well I downloaded this mod a few days ago because my computer was formatted. Last time it went perfect but this time it's looking for the steam directory. How did that happened? Last time I installed it even without steam but this time it says that it needs steam. I downloaded the torrent link just yesterday and it's impossible that I downloaded the old version. Please help me.

Might be wrong but I think the torrent still leads to the old version? Not 1.015.

Company of Heroes servers have shut down and are now using the Steamworks servers. In order to use this new version of CoH (v2.700) you need to install the Steam Relaunch of CoH. To get this version just add your CD key to steam and it will appear in your steam library. If for some reason this doesn't work or you don't want to use the new steam version then just change the installers directory to your CD Company of Heroes directory.

I can't set the installation directory because it automatically closes when there is no steam CoH relaunch version detected. Fact is that about a month ago I downloaded at the same page and the same torrent link and I can set the installation path manually. It's impossible that you downgraded the installer with the older installer which needs the steam version isn't it? I mean seriously the last time was good and this time it's bad. Or maybe because I use Company of Heroes Anthology.

The 1.015 installer was updated about a week after release to fix that problem. You probably ran the old one.

So I am gonna download again? Well I just downloaded it yesterday and was finished today and yet it still requests the steam version. I can't set the installation path manually. The one I downloaded on April was not like this. But it was 1.015.

You must have Steam installed even if you don't use it in order to change the path.

Oh thank you now I would suggest you put on your download page that even though you are going to install v.2602, you still need to have steam so that there will be no one to be like me.
