Thanks for the response, I appreciate your efforts, I really do. I did a clean uninstall and re-install of the mod, followed by 1.017 and 1.018. Still will not launch. I'll just wait and see if the geniuses at Relic come up with a fix.

Did you re-download the hotfix though? If your existing version is corrupted or incomplete, then simply re-installing won't help.

Hello, I'm new here. I bought the CoH bundle on Steam during the sales xD. I want to try this awesome mod but I seem to get almost the same error too, (mine ends with LuaConfig.dll ). I already tried the troubleshooting methods suggested before but I still get the same error. Any help is appreciated!

Sorry for the late reply.
I take it that means you're fully up to date with v1.018? You installed both the patches in order, in the right place?

No worries, I appreciate the help

I tried installing the base 1.016, start the game and get the error. Then I installed the 1.017 patch, and tried to start it; i get the same error. Then I installed the hotfix 1.018, and tried to start; i get the same error again.
This is rather frustrating, I cannot find where the problem is.
Is there any log files I can provide that might help?
EDIT: Sorry, my bad, I got it working when I placed the Modern Combat Launcher.bat in the CoH root folder instead of the MC folder. Silly me

Do you mean the other way round? Glad to hear you got it running regardless.
