CoH: Modern Combat

Yes I deleted the ModernCombat before I began installation and before each reinstallation.

Everything though? You should have deleted 1 folder and 5 .module files.

I deleted the whole modern combat folder and all of the module files. Please bear in mind that I said I was originally able to play the mod...

No offense but I'm becoming quite frustrated now - I do appreciate your help but I just feel like I'm continually re-explaining my situation

You said you uninstalled and then reinstalled, after which you were unable to play. Are you sure you didn't install it somewhere other than your CoH root folder? That might explain why the installer isn't letting you reinstall it in the right place now, because it's already installed elsewhere.

No, I said I could no longer play after I had attempted to create the shortcut for the launcher. After that, the mod simply wouldn't launch, even if I tried the .bat file. And no, I haven't installed it anywhere else.

Exactly what did you do when creating the shortcut? Be as specific as possible please.

Could you also check your CoH root folder and tell me whether or not there's a file named "LuaExtCore.dll" in there?

I followed the instructions for the shortcut exactly and tried all kinds of variations of the target line. Yes that file is in there
