I get it... i think u make the installer with the target path "program files x86" that path its for windows of 64 bits, that folder is because win64 needs to separate the software of 64 and 32 (x86) i think u need to change the software path ...

Well does the installer give you a chance to change the target directory? Or does it just lock you out entirely after the error message?

No, well, i create just to test the folder with other name, i think the installer it´s corrupt or in bad state, because a lot of people has the same problem, he just blocked in with that message ...

Creating the folder will not change it. The installer should be looking for HKEY install location, the problem is there are 2 keys. One for 64bit and one for 32bit. Yet since people here are complaining about issues from both versions of windows, I'm not sure what the problem is. I'm still looking into it.

Also i have checked my regedit Valve and the installation path is "C:Program files/Steam" i dont see any problem with the HKEY i think it´s the installer for us we have w32bits

The issue is that the install path from the HKEY is not being taken and put into the install directory, causing the system to look for:

steamapps

Instead of the HD location, C:/

I'm just not sure why it isn't loading the HKEY, just give me the weekend to think it through.

Don't know if it is still necessary to say but I have the same problem.
My Steam(with COH relaunch) install path is as follows:
D:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\common\Company of Heroes Relaunch

It's not the install path, its the HKEY Install path of steam that is important, you can find it here:
